Its all in the music
Lets face it we all get more out of anything we’re doing if we get involved mentally, physically and emotionally. Most of the time having fun is very much connected with movement. Dancing is a perfect example. If you’re dancing you can’t feel “down” if you’re moving to a great piece of music, whether you’re a good dancer or not. This is where I believe the Nintendo Wii Gaming Console has it over all the other games available in the market place today.
The Branding Component Of The
Just like the in the movies, music has a great deal to do with the emotions that go with every experience. Nintendo has recognized this quite a while ago. Who doesn’t have musical pieces that are connected with good experiences, falling in love, a birthday party etc.
Many of the games that can be played on the Nintendo Wii are associated with the well known and well loved “old” Nintendo games. Not only have the characters been incorporated but more so the music pieces that go along with the games as well.
This I think is a really smart and very wise move of the Japanese Game producers.
They obviously have a great deal of appreciation what music does to its audience.
Here’s an example, the entire Mario Brothers music selection has been kept in the current Wii games as well. So the gamer obviously recognizes the music, probably starts whistling or tapping to the rhythm of the sound an is looking forward to playing the game. From where I stand I would hazard a guess that a gamer with a positive attitude starting a game is likely to win more often and also will be more likely to be buying more often.
Wii Music The Game
Nintendo has released the Wii Music Game. The aim of the game is that you, with the wii mote, can act as the conductor of the virtual orchestra on your gaming console.
You can, as a gamer, create your own piece of music. Now here’s an innovative and different way of getting people motivated to create their own symphony. I think it is fantastic to use technology to be more creative than you could ever be in the past.
Well done and keep producing these sorts of games over the brutal shooting and highly addictive stuff that’s available in the market place. Which is truly destructive for a number of not only young people.
